Join Peter Han in a full 3 month mentorship program focusing on the most important aspect part of art & design education: Foundation.  Although foundation is important for all level artists, this program is for beginner to intermediate artists ( art school entry, 1-2 year art school students, intermediate- advanced level students looking to reinforce foundation skills).  This 3 month program will be a limited seating and intimate experience with Peter.  Other aspects of learning will include developing core work ethic, learning how to organize your thought process as a designer, time management and how to see the world in the eye of a concept artist.  This mentorship program is for the serious student looking to advance their core skills.    Students will be expected to devote time, be committed and dedicated in order to accomplish their goals for this program.

 

Starting June 5, 2018

Meeting times:
Wednesday 10 am - 6pm &  Friday 3pm - 8pm
Limit 12 students  / 12 hours per week

Price:
$5,400 for 3 months -  a 3 month commitment is required  (24 meetings)

This program is designed for those who want to level up their skills, learn about design, and build a portfolio. The duration of this program is not constraint to a fixed time (i.e. what would normally be a term at Brainstorm), but more on what you need to accomplish. Students will be expected to devote time, be committed and dedicated in order to accomplish their goals for this program.
No two students' mentorship will be alike, as John will work with each student to help him/her achieve their individual goals- whether it be to improve their current technical or design skills or to build a portfolio. This is a serious program, if student fails to make it to class they are required to email instructor. Only 1x make up session at the end of the month.

Mentorship groups meet twice a week from 11am - 6pm with a one hour lunch break.  This gives you a tremendous amount of personal time with the instructor and very serious art students like you!  Limited to 7 seats per group.  Email us for availability.

AD2: Advanced Form Language

This is the advanced course of Form Language Design. Utilize the language of design to create and develop comprehensive and functional designs for the film and gaming industry.  Students will be pushed to work at a production pace with feedback and expectations the industry demands from designers.   Students will be asked to develop a story and design a world  full of characters, creatures, props, vehicles and environments. The goal is to have a fully completed project piece at the end of the course.  Learn the language of design!

*Each week the students will be studying different subjects to come up with inspiration. (ie. man made, organic, found objects, etc.)
