Build an focused skill set within this project themed class to show your abilities to problem solve, design and meet artistic requirements experienced in a high pace art departments. Learn to design high level environments, characters, & props. Key focuses during the course will be on artistic quality, presentation and professionalism.

Time: Tuesday, 7:30 pm – 10:30 pm (3 Hour course)

Focus: Build a professional level concept design portfolio

First Class: January 24th, 2017 / 10 weeks

Prerequisite: WB1, DC1, AD1 / Recommended

ENT3: Entertainment Design 3 

Get ready for the industry! Experience a real art department setting and pipeline under the leadership of Jeal Choi. This course is designed to have a limited seating of 5-6 students for maximum interaction with instructor, and get one on one review to develop a portfolio focused for the game industry. This is the most advanced design course at Brainstorm that will propel thinking, game function development, and art/design applications. This course will help develop a portfolio that will speak directly to art directors and game designers. Key focuses during the course will be on artistic quality, presentation and professionalism.

Time: Saturday, 10 am - 2 pm (4 Hour course)

Instructor: Jeal Choi

Focus: Build a professional level concept design portfolio

First Class: September 17, 2016 / 10 weeks 

Prerequisite: ENT2, WB3, AD1 PD1, DC1 / Highly recommended

This class is for the artist looking to land a job. In our industry, we learn techniques for design and art. In Art of Business 1, we learn how to communicate as a professional, learn the do’s and don’ts of the industry and become more informed on where our industry is going and how to become a part of it for a long lasting and healthy career. We also cover rates, contracts, pipeline, time management and more! 

Time: Thursday, 7:30 pm – 10:30 pm (~3.0 Hour course)
