DC3: Digital Illustration

This is an intermediate course that will explore Photoshop within a studio pipeline, layer/effects understanding, creating efficient workflow for design, drawing and painting. Expand on the knowledge of light, color and layering. The class will focus on narrative storytelling, lighting, color theory, composition and Photoshop techniques. The course will explore sketches, paintings, models, still life for the purpose of storytelling and create awesome illustrations!

Time: Thursday, 7:30 pm – 10:30 pm (3 Hour course)

Instructor: James Paick

Focus: Becoming an expert digital painter

First Class: September 15, 2016 / 10 weeks

Prerequisite: DC1

Materials: Digital medium (Photoshop)
