CH1: Character Design 1
The class will break down each step of the design process and familiarize you with the character design process through anatomy, Storyboard , brainstorm sketches, line art, color variations, and rendering.
Instructor: Artemis Liu, Concept artist & Instructor
Yiming liu is currently working on the Blizzard Overwatch team as a character concept artist，he studied animation in college and got into video games industry when he graduated.He has worked in the entertainment design for 4 years and has 3 years of teaching experience.
Focus: Becoming familiar with character design process
Recommended education experience: CH-0, FIG1, AD1, DC1
Suggested Materials: Pens, pencils, sketchbook, loose paper, markers, digital camera, laptop and photoshop (any version)

Location: All SUMMER 2024 Term courses will be held online. All material, course structure and syllabus will remain the same. Class will meet in an online meeting room hosted by Brainstorm School.
Requirements: Computer with Photoshop and high speed internet. Mic (highly recommended) and camera (optional)
