This bootcamp is designed to help storyboard artists who already have a grasp of the basics, but want to improve their comedy chops. Regardless of genre, having the skills to get a laugh is a giant asset for storyboard artists in the animation industry. This course will help students develop those skills by going over how to best stage a joke visually, exaggerating for comedic effect, comedic timing, punching up a script for comedy, and how to come up with gags from scratch.

This course is 5 weeks in duration and meets once per week for 5 hours per meeting.
Each week, the online classes are live at the specified time (PST timezone) in a private GOTO-MEETING classroom. Classes are recorded and students can rewatch via stream for the duration of the term. Class links, teachers notes, class recordings along with homework submission will be hosted on a private class DISCORD. The DISCORD link will be sent approximately 5-7 days prior to your class start date to the registered email address.
