3D Concept Design - Props FLASH with Gurmukh Bhasin
This course will teach you to use 3D CAD tools to design your own hard surface props. We will start our design in 3D, work from large shapes to small details, go over materials, lighting and rendering and then finish our images off in photoshop for the final presentation. The course demos will use Moment of Inspiration 3D (but you can use other CAD softwares like Fusion 360 or Rhino if you are familiar with those tools), Maya (but you can use other polygon modeling softwares like Blender or 3DS Max if you are familiar with those tools), Keyshot (but you can use other rendering softwares like Octane, Cycles, Eevee or Redshift if you are familiar with those tools) and Photoshop. At the end of this course you will be confident in creating your own hard surface 3D concept designs from start to finish.

Gurmukh Bhasin is an Architect turned 3D CONCEPT DESIGNER with over 20 years experience working across multiple industries. Gurmukh has designed everything from spaceships for Star Citizen, LAX terminal 2, tires for Falken and Dunlop, drones for the military, and so much more. Gurmukh has found a niche space where 3D Concept Design is valuable for clients in fictional and real world industries, allowing for a vast range of employment opportunities and exciting project variation.
Suggested Materials: Blender 2.90 or higher, Photoshop CS6 or higher, Tablet or Cintique
Other requirements: Cable speed internet (30 mb or higher)
Flash Structure: 5 Weeks, 2 hours per week. Course structured to deliver focused information and techniques. Each week will be live demonstrations and Lecture. There is no feedback offered in this course.
