VD1: Visual Development for Games

Visual Development for Games will test your design and illustration abilities in this course. The focus of this class is to be able to develop designs within the actual purpose of video games, game play and video game aesthetics. You will be working within a small group setting under the guidance of senior concept artist, Jonathan Kuo. He will challenge every aspect of your development from research, sketches, final designs & more! Each student will be responsible for creation of unique design elements, how to present the ideas with sketch and final illustration.

Time: Saturday, 6pm – 9 pm (3 Hour course)
           Starts: Saturday, May 25, 2019
10 weeks

Instructor: Jonathan Kuo, Senior Concept Artist & instructor

Focus: Break down narrative storytelling into a visual style and concept creation.

Prerequisite: DC1, DC2, DC3, FIG1 (recommended)

Suggested Materials: Pens, pencils, sketchbook, loose paper, markers, digital camera, laptop and photoshop (any version)
